Two ramp sets allow the speed changes of the drive be changed on the fly based on digital input, fieldbus control or when exceeding certain predefined speed. This function is often required with certain types of mechanics such as pumps where the initial ramp (when starting) and final ramp (when changing speed above defined speed) are different or when different ramp times are needed when changing speed for instance if connected equipment is driven in two different operating conditions.
