A keypad for numeric entries can prevent operator error and simplify user control.
The numbers entered by the user are displayed on the screen for verification before any action is taken.
When programming, the keyboard can be scaled and limited to prevent number entries that are out of range.
Use the Scaling Setting in the Data Display Menu to allow input and define the upper and lower limit for entry as well as alarms to alert the user to out of range numbers.
